Skill Test Format for SSC Stenographer Exam:
Candidates who qualified in the Computer Based Examination must appear for the skill test, which includes:
- One dictation for 10 minutes in either English or Hindi (as per the candidate’s selection in the application).
- Speed requirements:
- 80 wpm for Stenographer Grade ‘D’
Note: Candidates who opt for the Hindi stenography test must learn English stenography (and vice versa) after appointment. Failure to do so may result in non-clearance of probation by the appointing department or organization.
