Through this Sanchar Saathi App, users can report any suspicious numbers or fraudulent calls at once from their name logs. This manner is quite simple and powerful. So that instant action may be taken on fraudulent incidents. If a consumer’s mobile is stolen then with the help of this Sanchar Saathi App he can block his tool immediately. This feature will assist in securing cellular facts and user privateness.

CHAKSHU

- Examples include impersonation as government officials, investment scams, and KYC-related frauds.
- Reporting suspected fraud helps the Department of Telecommunications prevent misuse of telecom resources.
- Chakshu is not for reporting actual financial fraud or cyber-crime cases.
- Victims of financial fraud should contact the cyber-crime helpline at 1930 or visit the official website.
- Chakshu also enables reporting of unsolicited commercial communications (UCC) or spam.
- UCC is defined as communications sent without the recipient’s consent or preference.
- Complaints made within 3 days of receiving UCC are valid and may prompt action against the sender.
- Reports made after 3 days may not lead to immediate action but help identify spammers.

BLOCK YOUR LOST/STOLEN MOBILE
- If your handset is lost or stolen then go to the application. Then try to block your number.
- If you click on the” Block your lost/stolen mobile” tab then you will be redirected to fill an application form containing several details like mobile number, IMEI number, mobile brand, device model along with where your mobile is lost and when along with the police FIR case printout and other personal information.
- You have to fill all these and tick the declaration form and have to submit it.
- Also you can unblock the device after it is found by filling the request id and number.

- REPORT INCOMING INTERNATIONAL CALL WITH INDIAN NUMBER:
- The users can report any incoming international calls they receive from any local Indian numbers (+91-xxxxxxxxxx) that start with +91 and have 10 digits after it. These calls come from illegal telecom operations abroad and appear as local calls to Indian citizens.
- They can put all the detail about that number by filling the form over there.
- Then the users will get an OTP to verify and after that they can submit.
KNOW YOUR WIRELINE INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER
You can know about your service provider by entering PIN code, address and ISP name.

- You can save yourself from unwanted commercial communication by sending SMS to the short code 1909 or by calling on it.
- You can choose your Do Not Disturb settings.
- You can file a UCC complaint with your service provider.
- Track the status of complaints you have submitted to your service provider.
- To help identify calls and messages from your saved contacts versus unknown telemarketers the app needs access to your address book. Your contact list is not uploaded or shared in any way.
