RRB NTPC 2026 Selection Process

Under the RRB NTPC recruitment 2026 of graduates and undergraduates, the department will be guided by the following procedure to recruit candidates to work in different posts:

CBT 1 Exam: They will firstly administer the Computer Based test- CBT 1 in various computer centres of the country. It will contain questions of objective types in the form of computer question that the candidates must mark correct answers of the question with the intention that the more they mark correct answers the more they will stand better chances of being invited to the next round of the selection.

CBT 2 Exam: Those who succeed in the CBT 1 examination will be invited to sit in the CBT 2 where department will repeat the same process to conduct the examination and he or she will be required to mark correct answers on the computer in this question paper. The CBT 1 and CBT 2 will provide the candidates to take their examination within 90 minutes where they will firstly be asked to answer 100 questions in the CBT 1 and will be required to answer 120 questions in the CBT 2.

Skill Test: The candidates who have applied to the post in which the computer skill is needed have to appear in the typing skill test etc. after the passing of the CBT 2 examination. 

Document checking: The department will publish the final list of the candidates based on their marks in CBT 1 and 2, and invite finalized candidates to attend in document checking round to allot the post respectively.
