More than one lakh internship opportunities in prestigious companies across more than 730 districts nationwide are available in PM Internship Scheme Round 2, after more than six lakh applications in Round 1. In addition to one payment of Rs 6,000, each selected intern for the year receives an allowance of Rs 5,000 each year.

Every shortlisted intern receives Rs 6,000 from individual companies and a total of Rs 60,000 receives from the government each year. Goals of the PM Internship Scheme Round 2 Registration

The PM Internship Scheme Round 2 program started with a pilot project for the fiscal year 2024–2025 with a goal of 1.25 lakh internships, as stated in the Union Budget 2024–2025.
