New Aadhaar App 2025: The Union Minister of Electronics and IT of India Mr Ashwini Vaishnav announced the launch New Aadhaar App on Tuesday, 8 April 2025. The New Aadhaar App is more digitalised and programmed insure the digital security of the Aadhar Card users. It will strengthen Aadhar card verification procedure where individuals will not required to carry hard copy or photocopy of the Aadhar card for Verification purpose in different department and services. You can Download the New Aadhaar App in your device and use the cardless features of the Aadhar Card where you can verify your identity by using your Aadhar mobile application.
New Aadhar mobile application launched
UIDAI is Managing the maintenance of Aadhar Card and details available in Aadhar card. The authority have already prepared Aadhar application to all the Aadhar card users where they can use it for all the online services of Aadhar card. But now the government is making Aadhaar card mobile application more effective by adding new features including Aadhar face ID verification, Aadhar QR verification, Aadhar card quick sharing feature, Aadhar Card Limited Information sharing feature etc. The central cabinet minister informed about such implements in new Aadhar card mobile application in a video conference. Do not need of photocopy in new Aadhar App
Photocopies are very important to avail services where an Aadhar card is needed. Hotels, Banks and other services require a photocopy of the Aadhar card to provide the services. But now, the new Aadhar mobile application will have a power to replace the photocopy of the Aadhar card and digitalise the Aadhar card verification procedure by using the new Aadhar mobile application. Aadhar card verification through face ID
Nowadays the government is asking individuals to KYC for multiple services such as ration card KYC by using the Aadhar card. Most of the mobile applications are not supporting the Aadhar face ID verification. But now the Government has integrated the face ID verification in new Aadhar app which will not required to download any additional application for completing the face ID verification. Once you enter your Aadhar Card details and provide the OTP in a in the mobile application, it will open the camera in your device where you need to locate the camera to your face and it will automatically detect the face of the applicant, if you have completed your Aadhar card biometric update then it will verify your face ID accordingly.
Verify the Aadhar card using QR code
Most of the people are familiar with QR scanning due to UPI payments. The online payment by scanning the QR code is very easy where you need to only scan the QR code of the other person and it will verify the payment portal where you can send the payment. By following the same method, the government have also included QR code verification system in New Aadhaar App. So whenever you are asked to verify your Aadhar card you need to only open your mobile application and show the Aadhar Card QR code available in the app. So other person will scan your QR Code by using the new Aadhar app and it will verify your details on their system accordingly. Share Limited details of Aadhar card
Aadhar Card have biometric as well as person details of the applicant such as 12 digit unique Aadhaar number, full name of the applicant, date of birth of the applicant and address. The date of birth is very confidential which is asked for verification purpose for different services. So whenever you send your Aadhar card to any other person, they can easily access your details. But now in the New Aadhar mobile application, you can customise the access of your information and will able to send only specific details such as masked Aadhar number, hidden date of birth etc.
