MH SET Exam Date 2025 (Out): The University Grants Commission (UGC), while determining the revised pay scale for teachers in colleges and universities in accordance with the Fourth Pay Commission, has stipulated that a person appointed as Assistant Professor will be eligible for the new pay scale provided he, in addition to the minimum qualifications already prescribed by the U.G.C. Also pass the eligibility test conducted by. Accordingly, U.G.C. Conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) for many subjects. U.G.C. And C.S.I.R. (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) conducts joint examinations for science subjects. NET or Combined Examination candidate should be approved by UGC/CSIR. and/or make him/her eligible to be appointed as Assistant Professor.
Keeping in view the fact that the number of candidates possessing the required qualifications to be appointed as Assistant Professor under the new pay scale is quite large, the UGC has authorized State Governments or State agencies on behalf of State Governments to conduct State Eligibility Test (SET) for Assistant Professor, provided the SET is duly recognized by the UGC.

MH SET Exam 2025 Pattern
The overall pattern of this MH SET Exam 2025 is so simple. This pattern is set by Savitribai Phule Pune University. The MH SET Exam 2025 consists of two papers, respectively Paper 1 and Paper 2.
