ICSE 10th board passing mark
The 10th class examination is considered the first board examination where most of the students are worry about their marks. Candidates are required to achieve at least 33% marks in each subject and overall too to qualify the ICSE 10th board examination in 2025. Authority is conducting the written examination for 80 marks. Candidates have to achieve more than 27 marks which are 33% of 80 to pass the subject. Apart from the passing marks, you also need to achieve good grades now to get admission in your dream courses in 11th and 12th class.
ICSE 10th board compartment 2025
After implementing the national education policy, ICSE discontinued the compartment examination for 10th class students, however they have replaced compartment examination with improvement examination. So it will not only allow candidates who achieve less than 33% marks to appear in the re exam but will also allow candidates who have qualified the 10th class but are not satisfied with their marks in specific subjects.
Students will get the option to appear for the improvement examination for maximum two subjects. So if you are failing in more than two subjects then you need to study in the 10th class again for the academic year of 2025 and 26 otherwise can sit in the improvement examination which will be scheduled within 1 month after declaring the result.
